“Crimson Coming to Elk Territory”

Tonight’s Teams:Elk River Elks (6-10-2) vs. Maple Grove Crimson (9-6-1)

Mid-season the Elks have shaken up some players and their positions. SInce this change, fans have seen some great game play. Even though not every game for the elks has ended with a win, the teamwork and morale has improved, more players are taking chances with shots, and it’s been a whole lot of fun watching the players improve.

Tonight’s game opposition will be tough. The Elks struggled against Champlin Park Rebels, and Varsity ultimately lost in the end. Maple Grove didn't have that same struggle. The Elks will need to come focused, primed, and ready to give 112%. 

We can expect to see great things from the Elks. JV is spreading out and playing the whole ice-which allows them to make some fantastic plays. Varsity’s defense has been struggling this season, but has improved exponentially since Coach Ben’s return. The Elks have come a long way.
